Sign-On Bonus: For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 for eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 1-2 years of experience, and $20,000 for those with more than 2 years of experience!
Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part-time RN position. Bonus amounts are prorated for Part-time hires; Per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former employees are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation.
At Maine Medical Center, over 3,300 babies are born annually. Our Prenatal Center cares for high-risk antepartum and postpartum women in a 12-bed unit. We accept high-risk pregnancy transfers from Maine and New Hampshire. This unit is the only standalone high-risk antepartum and postpartum unit in Maine. We are a growing department that collaborates closely with Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby teams. Maine Medical Center offers a clinical nurse advancement pathway, supporting RN growth, research, and leadership development. We expect nurses to achieve specialty certification within two years of hire.
This is a full-time, night-shift position, working 3 shifts of 12 hours per week.
The Clinical Nurse supports Maine Medical Center's mission, vision, and values by demonstrating excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, patient and family-centered care, community commitment, and accountability. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of nursing care, in accordance with national standards, hospital policies, and state regulations. Care may be provided across inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
