You will lead on professional negligence and complex disputes, assess liability with insurers and external counsel, and guide partners and senior stakeholders with pragmatic risk advice.

We're working with a leading regional law firm to recruit an Risk and ComplianceSolicitor into a senior, business-critical position.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor with a background in professional negligence orlitigation to move into a strategic, non-fee-earning role where you'll work closely with the firm's COLP and senior leadership team.

Rather than acting for clients, you'll be advising the business itself, helping manage legal risk, handling professional negligence matters, overseeing complex complaints and influencing how the firm continues to strengthen its governance and client care.

The Role?

You'll play a key role in protecting the firm's interests, providing commercially focused advice and supporting continuous improvement across the business.

Responsibilities include:
