Job summary

Howden is a global insurance group offering a Risk & Compliance Apprenticeship Programme in London. Start in Sept 2027 with a permanent role and an 18-month development programme, working in the office at least four days a week. You will gain practical experience while earning £28,000 and pursuing a recognised qualification.

No prior insurance experience is required; training is provided and you will join a collaborative, employee-owned team within Howden Re.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and produce high quality and accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Complete a structured induction and then join the Risk & Compliance team, gradually taking on more responsibility.
• Build understanding of risk, compliance and the regulations that apply to insurance and reinsurance.
• Support maintenance of the risk register and assist with identifying potential risks.
• Collaborate with specialist teams such as Financial Crime, Data Protection and Regulatory Affairs.
