Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed person to provide administrative support to the Risk and Assurance team at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.

This is a permanent post.

Main duties of the job
  • Coordinate and administer key pieces of work for the Risk and Assurance team, including diary management, report management, organising meetings, minute-taking, and database updates.
  • Support in reviewing incidents to ensure data quality, appropriate categorisation, and grading in line with Trust Policy.
  • Assist with identifying serious incidents for escalation.
  • Resolve technical issues and support system customisation to meet Trust needs.
  • Support the incident response process to meet internal and external objectives.

You should be highly organised with excellent interpersonal and computer skills. Effective communication, workload prioritisation, initiative, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

Essential: Educated to GCSE standard including English Language Grade C or above (or equivalent).

Desirable: Computer literacy in database software applications.

Specific Skills

Essential: IT skills in Microsoft Office packages (including relational databases, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Teams.

Desirable: Experience within the NHS or a similar healthcare environment.
