Job summary

Santander is seeking a Risk Assurance Associate based primarily in Glasgow with options for Belfast, Bradford, Milton Keynes or London. You will complete testing on a wide range of controls as part of the first line of defence, focusing on servicing processes and regulatory compliance to improve customer outcomes and risk management.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to work within a collaborative team under a hybrid pattern with onsite attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience with servicing processes within Corporate/Commercial Bank industry (Preferred).
• Knowledge of regulatory environment Santander operates in (Preferred).
• Experience in a control framework and understanding of regulatory rules (Preferred).
• Clear, professional communication with colleagues at all levels (Required).
• Attention to detail with methodical problem solving (Required).

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve processes to enhance customer outcomes.
• Manage risk and consider wider impact on customers and the bank.
• Provide subject matter expertise on servicing processes and regulations.
• Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing within Simple, Personal and Fair guidelines.
