Churchill Group is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to deliver risk assessments, surveys, and reviews of water systems across commercial and domestic settings. You will ensure accuracy of reports and quality checks before issue, while adhering to company procedures and health and safety standards.

The role requires knowledge of HSE ACoP L8, HSG274 and HTM-04-01, plus a full driving licence. Opportunities for development within a growing water hygiene compliance team are offered.

Qualifications

• Essential: Detailed working knowledge of HSE’s ACoP L8, HSG274 and HTM-04-01.
• Essential: Excellent understanding of Water Regulations and hold an appropriate certificate.
• Essential: Full Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella risk assessments, reviews and surveys in line with procedures.
• Ensure survey forms/work records are complete and accurate.
• Assist with technical development of the risk assessment document.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed and recorded.
• Arrange visits with clients in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide full support to Service Manager as required.

We are searching for a Risk Assessorto support with the delivery of all aspects of the water hygiene compliance contracts within their area.

Reporting into the Risk AssessorManager, the Legionella Risk Assessor will be responsible for undertaking legionella risk assessments, risk assessment reviews and surveys on a wide variety of water systemsand will require a good understanding of both commercial and domestic water systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all risk assessment reports and their satisfactory completion and quality checking, prior to issue.

Main Duties

• To carry out Legionella Risk assessments, reviews and surveys in line with company procedures and method statements.
• Ensure all survey forms and work records (electronic system based) are complete and accurate.
• Assist with technical development of the risk assessment document
• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and recorded, and are complete and accurate.
• Ensure all arrangements for visits with clients are made in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide full support to Service Manager, as and when required.
• Any other reasonable tasks as required.

Skills and abilities:

• Effective communication with good interpersonal communication skills at all levels of the organization, and with 3rd parties.
• An ability to proactively identify problems and make decisions, taking appropriate action to a resolution.
• An ability to attain an accurate and consistent standard of service.
• An ability to work on own initiative and positively as a team member.
• Computer literacy, with the ability to effectively use the Microsoft Office package and bespoke software/databases.

Desirable qualifications/experience:

• At least 1 year risk assessing experience
• City and Guilds Qualification

Essential qualifications/experience:

• An excellent understanding of Water Regulations and hold an appropriate certificate.
• Full Driving Licence
