Job description

Legionella Risk Assessor – Yorkshire, Humberside & Lincolnshire

We are seeking a driven, dependable, and flexible Legionella Risk Assessor to join our Water Hygiene Team. The role involves traveling across the specified regions and performing risk assessments, written scheme audits, and internal quality checks.

Key Responsibilities

• Legionella risk assessment of water systems
• Audits of management and planned preventative monitoring regimes
• Carry out general water hygiene tasks such as water outlet flushing, temperature checks, and sampling

Qualifications and Experience

• City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment
• Working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274 and BS:8580
• Understanding of complex water systems including water softeners, vehicle washes, and industrial processes
• Understanding of written scheme of control audits
• Strong communication skills with clients
• Competent report writing skills
• Proficiency with Word and Excel
• Ability to pass Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance checks
