Job summary

Bradley Environmental Consultants is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join our Water Hygiene team in the Halesowen area. You will carry out high-quality risk assessments for a diverse client base and help grow our Legionella division.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years' experience, relevant qualifications, ACoP L8/HSG274 knowledge, and a proactive, customer-focused approach. We offer a competitive salary, a £4,000 joining bonus, a company vehicle, and excellent training.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments.
• City & Guilds, WMSoc or equivalent Legionella Risk Assessment qualification.
• Good knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance.
• Experience producing compliant risk assessment reports.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with current legislation.
• Produce accurate, compliant reports and explain findings to clients.
• Provide technical advice and recommend appropriate control measures.
• Review colleagues' reports to ensure quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for additional services, including management plans, monitoring programmes and training.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Assist with maintaining LCA accreditation and quality standards.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the department.
