National Grid Ventures Interconnectors is seeking a Risk Analyst to join the Governance, Risk & Controls team. The role focuses on identifying, assessing and managing risks across our interconnector portfolio to support governance and informed decision-making in a complex operational environment.
The position is hybrid with a Warwick base, requiring two days in the office and flexible days working from home.

Through our portfolio of electrical interconnectors, we connect the UK's energy system with neighbouring countries, helping to balance supply, improve resilience and enable access to low-carbon energy.
As we continue to grow and develop new interconnector projects, we're looking for a Risk Analyst to join our Governance, Risk & Controls team within Interconnector Operations.
Our Operations team is responsible for operating 5.8GW of interconnector capacity, making a direct contribution to the safe and reliable operation of the UK energy system every day. In this role, you'll support the identification, assessment and management of risks across our portfolio, helping to ensure effective governance, compliance and decision-making across a complex operational environment.
Working closely with stakeholders from across the business, you'll support the development of risk management activities, facilitate risk discussions, maintain high-quality risk information and contribute to the continuous improvement of our risk management framework.
The role is hybrid with our base office in Warwick, we'd expect to see you twice a week in the office and can work the rest from home.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, can engage with a broad range of stakeholders and has a keen eye for detail.
You’ll ideally have:
A competitive salary between £42,781.00 -£50,738.50 per annum- dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
