We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Rights of Individual Manager
Rights of Individual Manager will play a key role in ensuring HSBC operates to the highest compliance and data privacy standards across CIIOM, meeting local Island laws and regulations and aligning with Global Standards Manuals and Functional Instruction Manuals (FIMs). The role is accountable for end-to-end oversight of Rights of Individuals requests, collating, reviewing, protecting and producing accurate data packs within agreed SLAs, while designing and embedding robust processes and controls to monitor effectiveness and mitigate risk. Working closely with the Data Protection Officer, Legal and key stakeholders, you’ll act as the central point of contact for complex cases (including Commissioner enquiries), maintain strong attention to detail to avoid inappropriate disclosures (e.g. where Financial Crime Risk considerations apply), and provide entity level control ownership and SME support. You’ll also help drive strategic improvements to the Rights of Individuals operating model, including oversight of the offshore GSC fulfilment team.
