This role is responsible for customer due diligence (CDD), Business Banking credit and other risk-related activities across the CIB Channel Islands and Isle of Man business. You’ll work alongside the Chief Operating Officer (COO) team and in collaboration with the CIB team to deliver the risk agenda while supporting sustainable business growth. The role includes oversight of timely CDD completion and client money account reviews. It also covers setting a consistent Business Banking credit proposition with robust oversight of wider policies, procedures, processes, models and collateral. The role sits within the scope of the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) Senior Management Function (SMF) regime under Category 3 including approval of new-to-bank and existing politically exposed person (PEP) relationships. Success means strong regulatory outcomes, consistent credit standards and clear oversight that supports safe growth.
