  • Monitor performance against service levels, productivity targets, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits, team briefings, one‑to‑one meetings, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure employees follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Respond to operational problems, customer concerns, absences, and changing priorities.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, timesheets, and operational data.
  • Manage equipment, vehicles, stock, and other field resources where applicable.
  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to improve service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to make field operations safer, simpler, and more efficient.

About You

  • Previous experience managing or supervising a field-based or operational team.
  • Strong planning, prioritisation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Comfortable making decisions in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Able to build positive relationships with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of digital scheduling, reporting, or workforce‑management tools.
  • A practical, visible leadership style and willingness to work in the field.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within the region.

Highly Desirable

  • Extensive experience in the Mobile Telecommunications Industry.
  • Relevant health and safety training or certification.
  • Experience managing budgets, contractors, vehicles, or equipment.
  • Knowledge of employment practices and operational compliance

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package, commensurate with experience
  • Performance‑related commission aligned to role contribution and business performance
  • Hybrid and flexible working approach, supportive of family commitments
  • Exposure to varied, technically interesting projects across multiple sectors
  • A clear development pathway as the sales function grows
  • Investment in training and ongoing professional development
  • Comprehensive benefits including Medicash, Cycle to Work, Employee Assistance Programme and Death in Service
  • Regular company and customer events
  • Pension scheme, paid annual leave plus bank holidays
