Job summary

Deliveroo UKI is seeking a UKI Rider Relations Associate (L2) to join our London team on a hybrid basis, representing Deliveroo in interactions with external stakeholders and supporting our rider fleet.

You will work across local councils, traffic authorities, and community partners, coordinating with PA, PR, Comms, and Rider Engagement to share positive stories and guide macro policy direction for the UKI region.

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of union and industrial relations in a UK/EU tech company, delivery aggregator, or complex operations.
• Exceptional communication and listening skills across diverse audiences; bridge rider perspectives with stakeholder needs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement to influence senior management and handle media inquiries with PR teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Deliveroo’s relationship with the GMB Trade Union and admin quarterly JPC meetings.
• Build positive relationships with local/regional stakeholders and respond to inbound inquiries.
• Help reduce local policy risks, e.g., council motions about bikes/e-bikes in city centres.
• Champion Rider Welfare initiatives (Rider Respect Charter) and address community challenges.
• Collaborate with PA, PR, Comms, and Rider Engagement to share positive stories and inform policy direction.
