Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Rider Onboarding & Compliance team within the Rider Support Centre. You will own global onboarding strategy, drive compliance, and partner with Legal, Policy and Data Science to balance speed and safety.

You'll manage a distributed team across the UK, India, and external vendors, delivering large-scale programs and ensuring rider hours are optimized while maintaining high standards for risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multi-site, multi-layered teams in fast-paced settings (onboarding, trust & safety, compliance or customer support).
• Hands-on capability managing external outsource vendor partners with quality/compliance standards.
• Strong forecasting and headcount planning across internal and offshore resources.
• Ability to partner with Legal, Policy, and Data Science to navigate regulatory and risk requirements.
• Track record of implementing process changes and tooling to lift efficiency across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the global onboarding and compliance strategy to ensure the right rider hours and fully compliant riders.
• Lead distributed global teams including UK, India, and vendor partners; coach and scale operations.
• Plan and execute major projects like onboarding standardisation and compliance redesigns with Legal, Policy, and Data Science.
• Direct vendor performance, capacity models, and end-to-end resourcing for global volume shifts.
