Job summary

MBDA is seeking an RF Systems Lead Engineer to head data link systems engineering on a new weapon system programme. You will coordinate requirements, architecture and V&V plans while leading a small team of RF engineers in a hybrid working environment.

The role requires RF technology understanding, a STEM degree, and a track record in systems engineering with supplier management and customer-facing skills. Security clearance and BPSS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Understanding of RF technologies and system level design for RF communication.
• Degree qualified in a STEM subject.
• Strong background in systems engineering across the full product life cycle with supplier management experience.
• Customer-facing skills highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Link systems engineering for a weapon system project.
• Coordinate systems engineering aspects, including bids, architecture, and development activities.
• Manage requirements management, system modelling, and V&V plans.
• Lead a small team of RF systems engineers.
