Job summary

MBDA is seeking an RF Systems Lead Engineer within its Data Link Systems team. You will lead RF systems engineering for a new weapons programme, coordinating architecture, requirements, modelling and V&V activities, while guiding a small team of RF engineers and interfacing with suppliers and customers.

The role combines technical leadership with bid support, a strong systems engineering background, and hands-on design review experience in a dynamic, security-cleared environment.

Qualifications

• RF technologies and system-level design for RF comms.
• Strong systems engineering across full lifecycle and supplier management.
• Experience with bid support and V&V activities would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead data link systems engineering for a weapon system project.
• Coordinate system architecture, requirements, modelling and V&V activities.
• Manage a small RF systems engineering team and supplier interactions.
• Support bids and transition development hardware to production.
