Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking an RF Systems Lead Engineer to head the data link systems work on our Future Air Superiority Effector programme. You'll lead a multi-disciplinary team of RF engineers, interface with suppliers and customers, and drive system-level design decisions across the data link domain.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on verification of prototype hardware, trade studies, and delivery of capable solutions aligned to programme needs.

Qualifications

RF technologies and system-level design for RF comms
STEM degree required
Strong systems engineering across full lifecycle
Experience managing suppliers
Customer facing skills desired

Responsibilities

Lead development of data link capabilities on the programme
Lead and steer technical studies within data link systems
Manage delivery of technical capabilities for readiness
Conduct trade studies and verification of prototype hardware
Engage with suppliers and customers to capture needs and showcase capabilities
Leads a multi-disciplinary team of RF engineers
