Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage seeks an RF Systems Lead Engineer to head data link systems on a new weapons program, coordinating with suppliers and customers and guiding junior RF engineers.

You will apply RF knowledge, systems engineering across the lifecycle, and supplier management, with hybrid work and security clearance requirements. The role includes leadership of a small team and engagement with bid activities, system architecture, and V&V plans.

Qualifications

• RF technologies and system level design experience.
• Experience managing suppliers and customer interactions.
• Strong systems engineering across full product lifecycle.
• Able to perform technical investigations and propose design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main Data Links technical point of contact for a weapon system project.
• Coordinate systems engineering activities across bids and development.
• Define system architecture and manage requirements, modelling, and V&V plans.
• Lead a small team of RF systems engineers.
