Job summary
MBDA in Stevenage is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join the RF Seekers Team. You will translate customer requirements into detailed system architectures for advancement of seeker technologies, working within the Systems Engineering discipline.
You will collaborate across development activities, leverage model-based approaches, and contribute to verification and validation while travel to MBDA sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience deriving and managing requirements.
- Experience with generating Functional and Physical Architecture using SysML, ARCADIA, or similar MBSE language.
- Experience with Model based Systems Engineering.
- Experience with Systems engineering tools like DOORS / DOORS Next / Rhapsody / Capella desirable.
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink desirable.
- Knowledge of RF/microwave and electronic systems, radar and control systems, and digital signal processing is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Transform customer requirements into lower level system architectures.
- Contribute to the verification and validation process across the Systems Engineering V model.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across development activities.
