Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd in Bolton is seeking an Electronic Engineer with a broad base in RF engineering to join the Seeker design support team. You will work with design and manufacturing to transition from development to series manufacture and support process improvements to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality seeker products.

The role requires autonomous work, strong RF assembly and test knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• Broad-based engineering background essential.
• Detailed knowledge of RF assembly and test procedures advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as a design team representative interfacing with design and manufacturing to transition a seeker from development into series manufacture.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on process and capability issues and support continuous improvement to maximise yields.
• Support non-conformance management, respond to design queries and advise on non-conformances.
• Assist manufacturing with internal and external suppliers to aid continuity of supply.
• Support obsolescence management by providing recommendations to the design team.
