Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking engineers to lead early life-cycle investigations and define system architectures for RF/LO systems. You will work with technology specialists, system designers and program teams to mature requirements and develop verification plans across the V-model.

The role involves collaboration across domains, delivering concept definitions, and potentially leading work packages in multi-disciplinary teams. Hybrid on-site work is expected with security clearances to be managed.

Qualifications

• System functional architecture definition and requirements management.
• Experience with systems engineering tools (DOORS, DOORS Next, Rhapsody).
• Conducting trade studies and resolving requirement/design conflicts.
• Ability to work independently on technically complex problems or in small teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead early life-cycle investigations and answer key what-if/how questions.
• Support system definition via trade studies and stakeholder interaction.
• Develop system design for future concepts and mature requirements.
• Plan and support verification activities across the V-model and trials.
