Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Team Lead for RF Design in Stevenage, combining technical leadership with people management. The role involves guiding RF design packages and delivering challenging projects within the UK defence sector, with a path to career growth in technical or people management.

The position supports hybrid working and a salary around £75,000 depending on experience, with potential relocation assistance. BPSS security clearance is required for candidates who pass the offer stage.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in leading and delivering complex RF design packages.
• Experience leading work packages and providing day-to-day leadership to teams.
• Familiar with RF and Antenna design tools and layout.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and design for manufacture and test.
• Experience in Project Management and planning (Excel, P6/MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of RF/antenna projects within the UK defence sector.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the RF team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to meet program milestones.
• Manage work packages, schedules and resource plans to On Time and On Cost.
