Job summary

Mount Charles Group is hiring a Cleaning Operative for Radius Ben Madigan, Belfast. The role involves delivering top-quality cleaning in offices, toilets and common areas, with a pattern of 4 hours per week (Mon and Thu, 08:30–16:30).

You will maintain stock, equipment and safety standards while offering excellent customer service. We value reliability and attention to detail, and provide benefits such as paid leave, pension and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service mindset and a focus on details.
• Previous experience in customer service preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level cleaning services in your area of responsibility.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer requirements.
• Clean offices, meeting rooms, toilets and site-wide areas.
• Replenish stock and check equipment for good working order.
• Follow company procedures and health and safety policies.
• Report hazards or defective equipment to your Line Manager.

The Role:

• Providing the highest level of Cleaning service within your area of responsibility
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional manner
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets, site wide
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines used during hours of work and all the equipment is left clean and in good working order
• Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, or hazards you encounter to your Line Manager
• All offices, toilets, and amenity areas to be presented clean and tidy
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all regulations as necessary
• Report defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces or any other Health and Safety issues to your Line Manager

The Person:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS Qualifications.
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
