Mount Charles Group is recruiting for a Cleaning Operative based at Woven Eden Square, Derry/Londonderry. You will provide top-quality cleaning across offices, meeting rooms, toilets and laboratories, while maintaining stock levels and equipment condition.

The role requires exceptional customer service, strong attention to detail, and relevant experience. NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors is advantageous.

• Customer service experience is an advantage and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level cleaning services across offices, meeting rooms, toilets, laboratories and amenity areas.
• Respond promptly and courteously to client requirements and maintain professional standards.
• Ensure stocks are replenished and equipment is clean and well-maintained.
• Follow health and safety policies and HACCP where applicable.

The Role:

• Providing the highest level of Cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients’ specifications
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines
• During hours of work and all the equipment is left clean and in good working order at the end of your shift, reporting any defects to your Line Manager
• Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, near misses or hazards to your Line Manager
• All offices, toilets, and amenity areas to be presented in a clean and tidy
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all HACCP regulations as necessary

The Person:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS Qualifications.
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
