Job summary

Mount Charles Group is seeking a Catering Manager for Loughview Housing, Holywood. The role involves preparing food to HACCP standards, maintaining service counters and delivering excellent customer service within a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food is prepared and cooked to an exceptional standard and HACCP regulations followed.
• Prepare service counter for service.
• Deliver the highest level of customer service consistently.
• Work as part of the team to ensure timely service.
• Complete administration including food temperatures, cleaning schedules, cashing up tills, and daily sales figures.
• Manage purchasing, cash handling, banking and the weekly ETA.
• Report defective equipment to Head Office.
• Ensure opening/closing of outlets per company procedures.

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Manager to join our team based at Loughview Housing, Holywood. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern

• 28 hours per week
• Week 1: 3/7 days 9am -17:30
• Week 2: 4/7 days 9am -17.30
• Every other weekend off

The Role

• To ensure all food is prepared and cooked to an exceptional standard, ensuring all HACCP regulations are adhered to (if required)
• Ensure the service counter is prepped and ready for service
• Ensure the team are providing the highest level of customer service in a consistent approach to anyone who uses the facility
• Work as part of the team to ensure the service is delivered on time and to the highest possible standard
• Completing any administration as requested which may include recording of food temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing up tills and recording daily sales figures on the system.
• Complete bookwork procedures in line with company requirements; in particular the administration of purchasing, cash handling, banking and management of the weekly estimated trading account (ETA)
• Report defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces etc. to the relevant Head Office department
• Ensure the opening and closing of all food outlets are carried out in accordance with Company procedures.
