Mount Charles Group in Portadown is recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee a small team and maintain high cleaning standards. The role is part-time, 15 hours per week, evenings, with pro rata holidays and a supportive, family‑oriented workplace.

You will follow COSHH requirements, manage equipment, and ensure safety signage while delivering reliable service. The ideal candidate has previous cleaning supervisory experience, strong attention to detail, and a customer‑focused attitude.

Aufgaben

• Along with your team of cleaners, you will ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by COSHH guidelines.
• Ensure full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment and use as directed by the Line Manager after training.
• Report any faulty equipment immediately and mark as faulty.
• Ensure safety signage is used and customers are warned where possible.
• Keep cleaning stores clean and equipment stored safely.

The Role:

• Along with your team ofcleaners, you will ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards - this to include weekly and periodic tasks
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to health guidelines (COSHH)
• Ensure full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use cleaning equipment as directed by the Line Manager only after correct training is given.
• Report immediately any equipment which is faulty, mark as faulty and do not use
• Ensure that the safety signage is used appropriate at all times, e.g. wet floor signs and ‘warn’ customers where possible
• Ensure that cleaning stores are kept clean and tidy and equipment is stored correctly and safely at all times

Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis. The post also requires proficient skills in computer literacy.
