Job summary

Hoople Ltd in Hereford is seeking a Revenues Officer on a hybrid basis. 37 hours per week, permanent contract, salary £27,427 per annum.

You will join the Revenues and Benefits team, supporting the collection of housing benefit overpayments, charges and rent arrears, working with residents, businesses and internal teams to recover debts promptly and in line with procedures.

Salary: Hoople Band C £27,427 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our high-performing Revenues and Benefits team as a Revenues Officer, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

As part of the Revenues Team, you will support the collection and recovery of a range of income streams, including housing benefit overpayments, social care charges, rent arrears and trade waste charges. The role involves working with residents, businesses and internal teams to ensure debts are recovered promptly and in line with relevant legislation and procedures.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive, 'can-do' attitude who can communicate confidently with a wide range of customers. You will need strong organisational, numerical and negotiation skills, along with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage competing priorities.

You should be comfortable working as part of a team while also using your own initiative to achieve results.
