An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our high-performing Revenues and Benefits team as a Revenues Officer, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
As part of the Revenues Team, you will support the collection and recovery of a range of income streams, including housing benefit overpayments, social care charges, rent arrears and trade waste charges. The role involves working with residents, businesses and internal teams to ensure debts are recovered promptly and in line with relevant legislation and procedures.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive, 'can-do' attitude who can communicate confidently with a wide range of customers. You will need strong organisational, numerical and negotiation skills, along with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage competing priorities.
You should be comfortable working as part of a team while also using your own initiative to achieve results.
