Job summary

Hoople Ltd in Hereford is seeking a Revenues Officer on a hybrid basis. 37 hours per week, permanent contract, salary £27,427 per annum.

You will join the Revenues and Benefits team, supporting the collection of housing benefit overpayments, charges and rent arrears, working with residents, businesses and internal teams to recover debts promptly and in line with procedures.

We value initiative, accuracy and good communication, with clear records and strong organisational and numerical skills.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational, numerical and negotiation skills.
• Confident communicator with a wide range of customers.
• Able to work as part of a team and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support the collection and recovery of housing benefit overpayments, social care charges, rent arrears and trade waste charges.
• Collaborate with residents, businesses and internal teams to recover debts promptly and in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and manage competing priorities in a busy Revenues team.
