Job summary

Boughey Distribution in Nantwich is seeking a Returns Warehouse Operative certified to operate a counterbalance forklift. You will manage end-to-end handling of customer returns, ensure accurate documentation and reintegrate goods into stock, combining hands-on warehouse work with occasional admin tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, with weekly pay and a range of benefits including training, pension, shopping discounts and healthcare support.

We are looking for a Returns Warehouse Operative who is counterbalance forklift certified to join our team based out of the Wardle site on a permanent basis working Monday to Friday hours.

Youwill manage the end-to-end handling of customer returns, ensuring efficient processing,accuratedocumentation, and seamless integration back into our inventory. The position combines hands-on warehouse operations with occasional administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Day to Day

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to safely collect and transport returned goods from designated areas back into stock in the warehouse.
• Inspect, sort and process incoming returns; assessing condition and determining appropriate next steps ie goods in, repair or disposal.
• Accurately log all returns in warehouse systems to maintain precise inventory records and compliance.
• Load and unload trailers safely and effectively to support smooth supply chain operations and minimise downtime.
• Perform computer-based tasks including updating records, managing email inbox and providing general administrative support as and when required.
• Performsmall amounts of handballing as and when required.
• Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and welfare of yourself and others.
