Job summary

Equans is seeking a Retrofit Technical Advisor to lead in-house retrofit coordination on live projects from our Hatfield base, with travel to sites across London and the Southeast. The role requires PAS2035 expertise and strong QA focus, delivering compliant retrofit solutions.

You will work with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality retrofit outcomes while keeping up with policy changes and funding opportunities. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• L5 Retrofit Coordinator qualification and RC project leadership experience.
• Full UK driving licence with ability to travel to multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of PAS2035, PAS2030/MCS, and building regulations.
• Ability to analyse technical data and interrogate PAS2035 documentation.
• Experience delivering QA on Retrofit Assessments, RCs, and RDs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Retrofit Coordination on live projects ensuring PAS2035 compliance and best practices.
• Support QA on Retrofit Assessments,RCs, and Retrofit Designs ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Verify project data, audit trails and technical documentation for audits, funding applications, and reporting.
• Collaborate with technical teams, project managers and contractors to integrate retrofit measures into plans.
• Identify and resolve retrofit technical challenges and risks with stakeholders.
• Participate in reviews and meetings to improve retrofit strategies and risk management.
• Develop internal process guides and training materials to standardise retrofit workflows.
• Conduct Retrofit Assessments on targeted projects and recommend energy efficiency measures.
• Stay updated on industry funding schemes, policy changes, and retrofit advancements.
• Conduct pre- and post-retrofit evaluations and analyse performance data.
• Liaise with external regulators and auditors to ensure compliance.
