Job summary

Futurebuild Recruitment is seeking a qualified Retrofit Coordinator / Technical Advisor to lead in-house retrofit coordination across live projects based from a Hertfordshire office, with travel to sites in London and the South East.

The role requires a Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator qualification, strong PAS 2035/2030 knowledge, and experience ensuring MCS compliance and Building Regulations are met. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Retrofit Coordination across live projects.

• Review project data and audit trails to ensure compliance.
• Work with project teams to integrate retrofit measures into construction programmes.
• Identify and resolve technical and compliance issues.
• Conduct Retrofit Assessments and recommend energy-efficiency measures.
• Support pre- and post-retrofit evaluations.

Retrofit Coordinator / Technical Advisor

Location: Hertfordshire / London & South East

We are working with a leading contractor within the social housing and property services sector who is looking to appoint an experienced Retrofit Coordinator / Technical Advisor to join their growing retrofit team.

The role will be based from the company's Hertfordshire office, with approximately half of the working week involving travel to live projects across London, the South East and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator looking to take on a technically focused position, providing Retrofit Coordination, quality assurance and compliance support across a portfolio of live retrofit and energy efficiency projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering in-house Retrofit Coordination across live projects, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with PAS 2035 and relevant industry standards.

Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering Retrofit Coordination across multiple live projects.
• Ensuring compliance with PAS 2035, PAS 2030, MCS requirements and Building Regulations.
• Carrying out detailed QA reviews of Retrofit Assessments, Retrofit Designs and Retrofit Coordination documentation.
• Reviewing project data, technical documentation and audit trails to ensure projects remain compliant and audit-ready.
• Working closely with project managers, technical teams, designers and contractors to integrate retrofit measures into live construction programmes.
• Identifying and resolving technical and compliance issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conducting Retrofit Assessments on selected projects and recommending appropriate energy-efficiency measures.
• Supporting pre- and post-retrofit evaluations to assess the performance of installed measures.
• Attending project reviews and technical meetings and providing advice on retrofit solutions and risk mitigation.
• Liaising with external auditors, industry bodies and other stakeholders.
• Keeping up to date with changes to retrofit standards, funding schemes, legislation and emerging technologies.

About You

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator qualification.
• Previous experience acting as the Retrofit Coordinator on live projects.
• Strong working knowledge of PAS 2035 and PAS 2030.
• Understanding of MCS compliance, Building Regulations and relevant retrofit standards.
• Full UK Driving License
