Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Retirement Living Coordinator to support retirement living customers across multiple schemes from our Newcastle area. The role involves coordinating services, facilities and housing management to deliver a professional service, working as part of a team dedicated to best practice in social housing.

The post requires experience with older or vulnerable people, housing management knowledge, and the ability to manage partner relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience with older and/or vulnerable people.
• Good understanding of housing management.
• Experience managing relationships with partner agencies/organisations.
• Formal qualifications in housing, care or support would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure occupancy targets are met through letting and refurbishment.
• Meet rent collection and arrears targets.
• Monitor the delivery of service contracts across designated schemes.
• Provide practical support and information to customers during service involvement.
• Deliver high standards of housing management and conduct regular site inspections.
• Monitor and reduce anti-social behaviour within services.
• Communicate customer responsibilities and tenancy compliance.
• Coordinate the lettings process to minimise void levels and promotions.
• Travel across designated locations to deliver an effective service.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed and data compliance maintained.
