Job summary

Bield Housing and Care in Glasgow is seeking a Cook for a retirement housing scheme. You will deliver high quality meals, manage dietary requirements and work with the team to support residents’ wellbeing.

Hours are 28 per week in a two-week pattern. You will assist with ordering, budgeting and ensuring food hygiene and safety standards across the development, with opportunities for flexible working and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering and managing dietary requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours as listed.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible meals service with high quality, freshly prepared meals within budget.
• Assist with ordering, purchasing and storing of food commodities.
• Ensure food hygiene and health and safety standards are met and promoted.
