Job summary

CIPS in Manchester is seeking an ambitious Commercial Manager to lead our new Retention function, driving cross-functional initiatives and turning data insights into measurable business outcomes. You will work closely with the Head of Retention to shape a customer-centric retention roadmap across pricing, operations, and propositions.

In this role you will own day-to-day retention initiatives, coordinate stakeholders, track performance, and ensure actions are delivered on time.

Qualifications

Experience delivering commercial initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational capability with proven delivery through to completion.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of the retention roadmap and translate priorities into actions.
Own the day-to-day management of retention initiatives and ensure plans are delivered.
Coordinate across pricing, operations, proposition, risk, and compliance to drive execution.
Track performance against objectives and highlight risks, opportunities and dependencies.
Use data and insight to identify trends and inform decisions.
Facilitate cross-functional discussions to build alignment and momentum.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer outcomes, and commercial performance.
