Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in London is seeking an Associate in Retail Valuation & Advisory to support high-quality valuation and advisory services across a diverse retail portfolio, including shopping centres and high street assets. You will work with institutional investors, lenders, and occupiers on high-profile assignments.

The role requires MRICS (or close) with experience in commercial property valuation, especially retail, and strong analytical/reporting abilities.

Qualifications

MRICS qualification or close to qualification.
Experience in commercial property valuation, with retail exposure.
Strong understanding of UK retail markets and valuation methods.
Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.

Responsibilities

Undertake valuations of retail assets for lending, reporting, acquisition, disposal, and advisory purposes.
Produce valuation reports following RICS Red Book standards.
Analyse market trends, occupier demand, and investment performance in retail.
Build and maintain financial models and cash flow analyses.
Support senior team on large portfolio instructions and client pitches.
Develop client relationships through proactive communication and market insight.
Collaborate with capital markets, leasing, and advisory teams.
Contribute to business development and thought leadership in retail.
