Job summary

Rose Communications Group is seeking a Retail Team Leader for the RCUK Retail Team in Salford. You will oversee in-store sales, support customers, and coach staff to achieve targets while maintaining excellent service.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience in retail, strong organisational and communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. The role is full-time with a 6-month probationary period, based at our Salford branch.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Retail Team Leader or Supervisor role.
• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Customer-focused with high service standards.
• Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security.
• Good IT skills, especially Word and Excel.
• Experience with retail management or customer service training is a plus (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand requirements and recommend products.
• Provide product information in-store, via email, and over the phone.
• Support sales by cross-sell and upsell opportunities while maintaining trust.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and promotions.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure product availability.
• Keep the branch well-presented, organized, and compliant with security standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and act as a role model for the team.
• Assist with training, coaching, and daily task coordination.
• Contribute to overall team performance and motivation.
