Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd. is hiring a Team Leader in Birmingham to drive the day-to-day operation of the department. You will lead by example, support colleagues, manage stock tasks and assist customers to ensure excellent service.

You will work closely with your manager to uphold high standards, motivate the team and maintain a positive shop floor environment across shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail or customer-facing environment.
• A willingness to take on responsibility and support others.
• Good communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of the department, setting an example for colleagues.
• Support new starters and help colleagues stock duties.
• Resolve problems on the shop floor and ensure smooth operation.
• Work closely with the manager to maintain high standards and motivate the team.
