Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, through its ESS division serving Defence, Government, and Energy sectors, is recruiting for a Retail Supervisor to help manage operations. The role is full time and operates on a 5-out-of-7 shift pattern with a 50.2-week year.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
