Job summary

The Entertainer is seeking a 20 hour per week Supervisor at Barnstaple High Street to support the Store Manager in daily operations and lead a small team to deliver outstanding customer service. You will cover shifts, including weekends, and help maintain store standards and promote company promotions.

Ideal candidates will be energetic, outgoing and flexible, with a passion for retail. Training will be provided to support your progression in management within the Entertainer.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing or supervising a small team.
• Flexible to shift patterns and weekends as required.
• Comfort with using computers/tablets to complete tasks and boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including Sundays on a rota, and run the store in the manager's absence.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, cash handling and till reconciliations.
• Lead by example with exceptional customer service and staff motivation.
• Implement in-store promotions, stay commercial, keep staff informed.
• Participate in stock management, deliveries, merchandising and reducing stock loss.
• Handle routine store administration including starters, leavers and rota planning.
