Job summary

Regent Corner Ltd is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead the Morrisons Daily franchise store in Rugby. You will drive daily operations, lead the team, ensure stock availability, and meet sales targets while upholding company standards.

The role requires strong leadership, customer focus, and operational excellence. 37.5–40 hours per week, with a salary of £41,000–£43,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Rugby.

Qualifications

• Requires proven retail management experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role in retail.
• Experience handling stock control and merchandising.
• Experience monitoring sales performance and implementing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the store.
• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff.
• Monitor sales and implement revenue strategies.
• Maintain high standards of customer service.
• Oversee stock control, inventory, and merchandising.
• Prepare staff rotas and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, food safety, licensing and safety regulations.
• Control costs and prepare management reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Drive continuous improvement to meet objectives.
