Job summary

ANCI Group Limited is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the Morrisons Daily Glenfield store and forecourt operations in Leicester. The role includes supervising staff, managing rotas, driving sales, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering excellent customer service.

The position is full-time and permanent, offering 37.5 hours per week with a salary range of £30,500–£32,500 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management role or similar supervisory position.
• Experience in managing rotas, stock, tills and cash reconciliation.
• Knowledge of health and safety, licensing and fuel-site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the Morrisons Daily convenience store and forecourt.
• Lead, supervise, train and support retail team.
• Prepare staff rotas and staffing levels across shifts.
• Monitor sales, costs and store performance against targets.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with age-restricted sales and Challenge 25.
• Oversee till operations, cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation.
• Maintain store cleanliness, presentation and customer service.
