Strathberry, a leading luxury brand, seeks a Retail Store Manager in London to lead the store's performance, people development and daily operations. You will be the brand ambassador, manage customer experience, and drive standards across a fast-growing, international luxury environment.

The role offers 40 hours per week on a rotating shift, with opportunities for professional growth as the brand expands its flagship UK presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in fashion or luxury retail management.
• Experience driving KPIs, staff planning and inventory management.
• Exceptional leadership and ability to communicate the brand story.
• Organised, able to multitask, prioritise and delegate.

• Good level of numeracy and ability to produce/maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for the London store with external/internal stakeholders.
• Manage time and resources across multiple sites.
• Lead recruitment, training and onboarding of new staff.
• Ensure excellent customer service and brand experience.
• Plan, organise and distribute tasks to optimise resources and minimise costs.
• Maintain stock and POS system accuracy and store condition.
• Conduct staff appraisals and develop career paths.
• Handle staff or customer issues including complaints and grievances.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Retail International, the Retail Store Manager will own overall responsibility for the store's performance, people development and operational standards, ensuring the team consistently delivers against business objectives.

You will hold a key role within our fast-growing business, where you will act as an ambassador for the brand, managing the daily operations of the store and ensuring all customers receive the best experience. As Strathberry is a rapidly growing organisation there is also opportunity for continued professional development.

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position based onsite at our London retail location. Working 5 shifts a week on a rotating shift pattern, equating to 40 hours over a 7-day week.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for the London store across external and internal stakeholders including Marketing, Finance, FR & Merchandising.
• Ability to manage time and resource across multiple sites.
• Independent management of additional projects and administrative duties.
• Lead through excellence by promoting a positive, engaging culture, providing clear direction, support and guidance.
• To ensure an excellent level of customer service.
• Proactively identifying underperformance and implementing corrective measures for improvement.
• To recruit, train and ensure the seamless integration of the new employees.
• To plan, organise, prioritise and distribute tasks, optimising resources and minimising costs.
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures including H&S alongside preparing rotas and monthly payroll reports.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths.
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.).
• Helping coordinate other retail activity and considering events that could be held in store.
• Close control of stock management and POS system.
• Additional Store Manager duties as needed.

About you

To be a star candidate for this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Retail management experience within luxury flagship or multiple sites preferred, with a minimum of 3 years in fashion or luxury retail management.
• Experience in driving KPI’s, staff planning and inventory management.
• Exceptional leadership skills and confidence to effectively communicate the brand story.
• Organised, able to multitask, prioritise and delegate tasks.
• Professional with the ability to always act confidentially.
• A good level of numeracy and the ability to produce and maintain accurate records.
