Job summary

Timberland, part of VF Corporation, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract at a new pop-up in East Midlands Designer Outlet. You will support the Store Manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience and drive store performance.

You will lead a small team, open/close shifts, and ensure high standards in sales, service, and store operations while living VF's Guiding Principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail supervisory role or store team lead.
• Ability to lead a team and drive sales targets.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability in line with the Store Manager.
• Mentor, coach, and develop sales associates.
• Support with retail processes and look for improvements.
• Oversee inventory, P&L and KPI reporting.
• Ensure store visuals align with brand guidelines.
• Provide cover in the Store Manager's absence.
