Job summary

Clarks in Gretna is seeking a Store Manager with a passion for footwear and customer service to lead a busy retail team. You will drive sales, manage daily store operations, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in a retail environment, leading a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Flexibility to work 7-day shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to engage and motivate your team.
• Proficient with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members to maximize performance and engagement.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse sales reports, and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
