Job summary

Goodwill Southern New England is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, donations processing, pricing, and customer service. Under the Store Manager’s supervision, you will support financial performance and loss prevention while guiding staff and volunteers.

The role requires weekend, evening, and holiday availability; previous supervisory experience in retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years related supervisory experience in retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, including donations processing, pricing, and merchandising.
• Support Store Manager in budgeting, payroll, and loss prevention.
• Lead staff and volunteers; ensure quality customer service and safe working conditions.
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and inventory control.
• Prepare reports and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
