Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting for a Retail Area Support Security Officer to cover multiple stores across Leeds and surrounding areas. You will patrol premises, monitor entrances, respond to disturbances, and operate theft-detection devices while engaging staff and customers professionally.

Role requires an SIA license, a 5-year checkable work history, and a full UK driving licence. After 12 weeks, the role transfers to the client with extensive employee benefits and career progression

About the role

Title – Retail Area Support Security Officer

Pay Rate – £15.15

Location – Leeds Brigate, Leeds Crown Point, Leeds White Rose, Leeds, Moortown, Pudsey, Wakefield & surrounding areas.

Shift Timings – Various timings, potential to work 6/7 days.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.

• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.


• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.

• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
