Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (trading as ASEL) is seeking a Retail Security Officer for Warrington, covering Lidl Warrington Latchford and Aldi Skelmersdale. You will deter crime, respond to incidents, and prepare detailed reports, working within a 24.3 hour weekly shift pattern.

Applicants must hold a valid SIA licence and be able to provide a 5-year history and right-to-work documents. SIA guarding/door supervisor licence is required.

Qualifications

• You must have a valid SIA licence to apply for this role.
• Previous experience of working in a Retail Security Role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
• Applicants must be able to provide a full 5-year checkable work or back to school history.
• Please bring right to work documents and a recent proof of address if selected for interview.
• You must have a current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence to apply for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible deterrence, respond to incidents, complete incident reports and collaborate with local authorities.
• Carry out all guarding responsibilities in store.
• Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Assess vulnerabilities and work to minimise risk.
• Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Manage vulnerable persons with empathy and without distress.
• Complete colleague and contractor searches as required per policy.
• Digitally report incidents using tablets/phones and produce detailed incident reports.
