Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Security Officer to protect assets, people and property in line with site Assignment Instructions and client KPIs.

You will maintain compliance with UK law and industry guidelines while delivering reliable on-site security services. The role requires an SIA front-line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA Licence, with ongoing training and licence renewals.

Qualifications

• Front-line SIA licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision.
• CCTV PSS SIA Licence required.
• SC Clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follow site Assignment Instructions (AI's) and procedures to maintain security on site.
• Complete all tasks on site as defined within the AI's and report any deviations.
• Review AI's for changes and suggest amendments to improve service levels.
• Maintain compliance with UK law, industry guidelines and health & safety requirements.
• Wear and maintain required licences at all times while on duty.
• Complete accurate incident logs and communicate with the Security Account Manager as needed.
• Work in a systematic, methodical and orderly manner.
