Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Retail Security Officer to protect customers, staff and stock in our store network. You will be the visible security presence, patrol premises, monitor CCTV, and respond to incidents while delivering friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence – Door Supervisor or Security Guarding is required.
• Strong observational skills to identify suspicious behaviour.
• Excellent verbal and written reporting and communication.
• Proactive, professional approach to safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Act as visible security presence, deter theft and anti-social behaviour.
• Conduct regular store patrols to sustain safety and security.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to suspicious activity promptly.
• Carry out searches per company policy when required.
• Respond to alarms promptly and escalate to management or police as needed.
• Complete detailed incident and observation reports.
