Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a Retail Security Officer for ASDA Irvine (KA12). You will protect people and assets while delivering excellent customer service in line with Mitie and Asda values.

The role includes full training, must hold an SIA licence, and you’ll work within a support network including the NOC and latest technology. Shifts are paid at £13.10 per hour with guaranteed 14 hours per week on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence required.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Trackable 5 year work history.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Energy and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Comply with policies and UK law; report incidents via the National Operations Centre (NOC) and Mitie systems.
• Engage with NOC and Mitie management; use technology (body cameras, incident reporting) to aid in reporting.
• Complete all tasks on site as defined in the Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Review and update procedures by following published AI changes to improve service.
• Maintain front-line licence and comply with industry requirements; undertake required training.
• Call emergency services and the Mitie Communications Centre to report incidents.
